FPY Supports LGBTQ Youth and Observes Pride Month
June is "Pride Month" for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning community. FPY supports LGBTQ youth and encourages its partners to include recognition and awareness of Pride Month in programs for youth. Here are some local resources:

Orion Program
The ORION Program provides sustained peer-led and peer-facilitated HIV and STD prevention education and outreach to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) youth. ORION works with teens to develop peer group norms which support healthy behaviors and ultimately decrease participants' risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
