Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is composed of the Partnership's officers: President, President Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President. The Committee meets monthly to review business of the Partnership. Primary responsibilities include financial and human resources oversight, reviewing and approving contracts, developing and evaluating the Partnership's strategic plan, and planning the Board's annual Planning Retreat.

Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee meets regularly to develop strategies for advocating the needs of youth in Fairfax County. Such advocacy, which can occur on local and state levels, includes promoting the need for services and understanding youth related issues that arise.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee, chaired by the Partnership's immediate past president and generally composed of the Partnership's past presidents, meets regularly to address the membership needs of the Partnership's Board of Directors. Nominating activities include identifying candidates for election to the Board as officers and directors and determining the continuing status of Board members whose participation has become irregular.

Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee meets regularly to develop strategies to promote the Partnership in the community, recommend policies pertaining to public relations activities, and to schedule specific events that promote the Partnership. Public relations activities include publishing the Partnership's quarterly newsletter, developing Partnership informational materials, coordinating the Partnership speaker's bureau, and scheduling the media open house.

Budget and Resource Development Committee

The Resource Development meets regularly to develop strategies to address the financial needs of the Partnership, and recommend policies pertaining to fund raising. Resource development activities include establishing the Partnership's annual budget development timeline, reviewing requests for services funding, reviewing and expanding sources of revenue, and developing the Partnership's financial development strategic plan.

"Swing with The Legends" Golf Committee

The Swing With The Legends Charity Golf Classic Committee meets regularly, beginning in late spring of each year, to plan the Partnership's signature fund raising event, held each Fall in partnership with the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.
