Workplace and Matching Gifts

You might be able to make your donation go farther. Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar or more. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to this organization may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Please follow these easy instructions:

  1. Obtain a matching gift form and program guidelines from your human resources office.
  2. Fill in the Employee section of the form and send it to FPY along with your donation or, if you've made your contribution online, simply complete the form and mail it to us. We will complete the form and forward it to your employer's matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to the Fairfax Partnership for Youth.

Use Your Federal Government Pledge Card - CFC code 87355

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the outlet for federal employees to show their philanthropic commitment. To help FPY with your CFC contribution, enter our CFC code, 87355, on your campaign pledge card.

Participate in Your Company Volunteer Program

Some corporate volunteer programs offer paid time off for employees to spend their work time providing assistance to their favorite charitable organization. Others will make a contribution on your behalf to your charity of choice to reward your volunteer activities. To find out if your company has a program to encourage volunteerism, contact your human resources department.

Join in the United Way Program

If your company's employee giving program only includes the United Way, look for a "donor option" line on your giving campaign form and write in "The Fairfax Partnership for Youth." Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to the Partnership.
